Allen Clark
Allen Clark, born May 30, 1952, in Blount County to Leon and Flora Clark.
He went to his eternal reward, October 23, 2022. He was employed for Robert Shaw Controls for over 30 years; retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after more than 10 years. The most important job to Allen was Deacon position he held at First Calvary Baptist Church in the Lonsdale Community, Knoxville, TN.
Allen was a devoted husband and father.
Preceded in death by grandmother, Celia Chandler; parents; brothers, Leon Clark Jr., Ralph Clark, Luel Clark, and LaVon Clark; sister, Barbara McGhee.
Left to cherish his memory devoted wife, Luvernel Clark; daughters, Racquel (Kevin) Woods and DaVetre’ Pryor; adopted children, Ujima Lenoir and Beaunka Bankston; brother, Rev. Cecil (Linda) Clark; sister, Linda Vaughn; brothers-in-law, Anthony and Gregory Dorsey; sister-in-law, Sonya King; grandchildren, Estavon “Budrow” Pryor II and Kahvale “Baby Budrow” Woods, and a host of other family and friends.
Family will receive friends, Saturday October 29, 2022 at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1933 W. Texas Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921, 11:30 – 12:30p.m., funeral services to 12:30 p.m., Dr. George W. C. Lyons Jr., Eulogist.
Interment, Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
