Annecissa Brown
Early Monday morning, December 19, 2022 before dawn, God fulfilled his blessed promise and called out to His child, and her spirit answered. The kind and gentle spirit of Annecissa Brown entered his courts of praise, found God’s resting place, and moved from Earth to glory. “Where there will be no more death, neither sorrow, sickness nor pain.”
Annecissa Brown was born, March 12, 1996 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Laura Brown. Annecissa was a well-educated young lady. She resided in Nashville, TN where she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee State University and was on her way to retrieving her Master’s Degree from Lipscomb University. Annecissa was employed with Metro Nashville Public Schools as a First grade teacher at Fall Hamilton Elementary where she loved and cared for her students endlessly. Annecissa Brown was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Annecissa was loved and cherished by so many.
Loved ones celebrating her life include her twin sister, Laurecissa Brown and nephew, Amir Hughes; mother Juanita Slay; siblings, Jannecissa, Anthony, Ablessing, Dayten, and Micah Brown; Artece, Keiota, and James (Amy) Slay; grandmother, Barbara Huddleston and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family will receive friends, 5:00-5:30 p.m., Saturday at Community Evangelistic Church, 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike 37914; Celebration of Life, 5:30 p.m., Minister Jeremy Ruby, Officiant.

Love and peaceful spirit of a very beautiful soul is and will be missed by so many even me! Never could tell them apart so I always called them both Hey Twin(s)! both will answered, well mannered and very much loved. Condolences 💐 & Prayers for family & friends 🙏🏾
My condolences to you Juanita and the rest of the family, I remember the twins when they were little and so cute, I could not tell them apart either. But they were so respectful to everyone that they came in contact with. She will be missed greatly especially by her twin. Prayers are with you all!!
