Obituary for Annie Ella “Nannie” Walker

Knoxville – Annie Ella “Nannie” Walker, received her wings, Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021 at the age of 89 years old. Born, August 28, 1931 in Knoxville, TN.

Preceded in death by parents, Melvin and Lessie Walker; sister, Zelma Carson; brothers, Melvin Walker Jr. and Thomas Walker.

Survived by daughter, Josette Neal;sons, William Joe Walker and Floyd Eric Walker; brothers, Richard Walker and Leonard Walker.

Nannie will be greatly missed by her entire family and everyone who knew her.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Nannie’s neighbors for all their kindness.

Family will receive friends,5:30- 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday, February 23, 2021; funeral service,6:00 p.m. at Jarnigan’s Chapel, Elder Marshall Henley, Officiating.

Interment, 4:30p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at, Brown’s Mountain Cemetery.
