BONNIE LOWERY ROSS

KNOXVILLE -Bonnie Lowery Ross 78, received her angel wings, Thursday April 14, 2022. She resided in San Diego for most of her life.
Preceded in death by her loving parents, Doyle Lowery and Mildred Lucy Lowery.

Bonnie retired as a Social Worker after 25 years of service. Precious memories will always remain in the hearts of her loved ones; sons, Steven(Kimberly) Shelton Sr. and Anthony Shelton; grandchildren, Monique Dodson, Steven Shelton Jr., DeMonte Shelton Rivera, Kiana Shelton Rivera, Casey Shelton and Marcus Shelton; great grandchildren, MaKayla, Taivealani, Isaiah, Remy, DeMani, Mateo, Josiah; brothers, Bud and Allen Lowery; nephews, Dennis Lowery Jr., Daryl and (Valencia) Lowery; nieces, Nicole Moore, Joslyn Lowery, Shaunetta Lowery; nephews, Dennis Lowery III, Adrian Wilson, Joshua Lewis.

Bonnie was the voice of reason, the best storyteller, advice giver, hand holder, supporter, broken heart healer, teacher, nerve calmer, sunshine, heart and soul, comedian, confidant and best friend. She had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh!
While our family and her friends, across all states, will miss her dearly, we know there was a celebration when the Lord called her home. There to meet her at the gates of heaven were her Daddy and Mother.

Until we meet again, rest in peace with no more pain.
Family will receive friends, Tue 12:00noon- 1:00 p.m., at Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. Harold A. Middlebrook, Officiating.
