CLIFFORD MANSON SMITH, SR.
Clifford Manson Smith, Sr., age 72, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Beverly Park Place Facility.
Clifford was born, May 12, 1951, to Joseph, Sr. and Vera Smith. He was raised in the Lonsdale Community and graduated from Fulton High School in 1969.
Clifford loved to sing and once was part of a singing group in his earlier years. Later in life, he became a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church and joined the Male Chorus.
He was preceded in death by parents: Joseph Sr. and Vera Smith; siblings: Connie and Charles; son: Eric; grandson: Kevin Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter: Kyandra Cutwright; sons: Clifford Jr. (Beverly), Kevin Sr. (Summer), Demarcus, Maurice, and Rodney Smith; brother: Rev. Dr. Joseph (Mildred) Smith Jr.; aunts: Coral Huston and Eva Dean Maclin; children’s mothers: Charlotte, LaRetha, and Wanda; 25 grandchildren and 29 great-Grandchildren; several devoted nieces and nephews, and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.
Family will receive friends, 1:30-2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023; funeral service, 2:00 p.m., at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, Rev. Dr. Joseph B. Smith, Jr. officiating.
