DAVID L. EVERY, SR.
On June 16, 2023 in Nashville TN, David L. Every Sr. was called home. David (Super Dave) as he was called by most was born November 23, 1966 in Knoxville TN to Mother Delores Every and Father Earl. David was raised in the Black Working Class Community of Austin Homes and attended Austin East High School were he would graduate Class of 84. After high school, David served in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Sergeant (E5). While in the service David’s Army career would give him the travel experience of a lifetime while being stationed in Germany prior to his discharge as General under Honorable Conditions.
Preceded in death by: aunts, Hernestine “Dooley” Wooten and Aunt Bobby.
Left to honor his memory: daughter, Constance M. Every; son, David L. Every Jr; Mother, Delores Every, Father, Earl; granddaughters, Dylan Every, Dace’ Every; brother, Jeffery Every; ; and several relatives and lifelong friends.
Family will receive friends, 11:00-12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at
Mount Zion Baptist Church, 2714 Brooks Road; funeral service, 12:00 noon, Rev. Dr. Johnnie W. Skinner, Officiating.
Interment, East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy.
