Obituary for Deborah (Debbie Lucy) Porter

Deborah (Debbie Lucy) Porter age 61 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional. She was Preceded in death by her grandmother Bernice Porter and sister Terrie Porter. She is survived by her mother and stepfather Shirley & Willie Sims; her children devoted daughter & caregiver Toneka & Terrance Waters and son Lamar & Andronica Hester; (Sister) Kimberly & Michael Brown and Willie Sims (brother); Her grandchildren TJ, Trinity, Tra’nece & Te’yuan Waters, Amarian & Aniya Hester; Great grandchild Terrance (Tre)Waters III; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to include devoted aunts, Robin Porter and Barbara Peak. Special Thanks to her devoted friends Sherry Harris, Kevin Brown, devoted niece Tierra Gordon, & the nurses of Fort Sanders for their loving care.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 -6pm on Thursday May 4th at Jarnigan and Son’s Chapel.  Final arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
