Obituary for Doretha Tate

Doretha Tate of Knoxville, TN went to be with her Lord, May 7, 2023. She was born in Alabama on August 10,1954. Doretha was a loving person that thought the world of her family and friends. She was a very giving woman. She would give her last if could help someone out. And though she was a kind and sweet woman, Doretha had no problem telling you how she felt. She will truly be missed by everyone that knew her.

She is preceded in death by husband, William Tate, mother, Louis Well, and sister, Monzella Wells. She is survived by sons, Dominique and Dios Tate, daughters, Queenie and Rose, niece, Sincere, devoted niece, Lenise Litttlejohn, devoted nephew, Marlon Forbes and a host other relatives and friends too numerous to name.

Family will receive friends, Friday May 26, 2023 from 5:30 to 6pm, with celebration of life services to follow. Final arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary
