DOROTHY JONES BRIDGES
Dorothy Jones Bridges transitioned from this life, January 9, 2023 at University of Tennessee Hospital surrounded by family. She was a member of Good Samaritan Center of Hope. She retired from Sertoma Center. She was born March 28, 1952.
Preceded in death by father-Jesse Mathis Jones; mother Estella Thomas; brother, Gerald Thomas.
Survivors: sisters JoAnn (Fred) Jones Sr., Jessie Ervin, and Maxine Riley; sons, William (Angela) Smith Jr., James Smith Sr.; daughter, Dorothy Ann (Acie III) Campbell; 7 grandchildren, Leondra, Sharday, Brittany, Leshemia, James Jr., Mahongony, and Ashley; 8 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jessie, and family members: I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a childhood friend of Jessie and Dorothy and recently heard from her and received a pic of her thorough one of her church members. I was so happy to hear that she remembered our childhood days. My heart is broken and I pray that you will have the comfort you need from the Lord. God bless you all.
