Obituary for Elizabeth Anna Waymon
Elizabeth Anna Waymon was born, May 2, 1946 to the late Henry B. Green Sr. and Bertha B. Green. She loved sitting on her porch daily, planting flowers in her yard, and feeding the birds. Her favorite R&B singer was Gladys Knight and the Pips; her favorite color was yellow and she loved butterflies.
Elizabeth a.k.a.. Liz or aunt Liz was preceded in death by her brothers: Henry B. Green Jr., Alonzo A. Green, and William J. Green; sister, Sarah O. King.
She is survived by son, John M. Waymon Jr., and Jeriesha L. Waymon; grandchildren; Antonia L. Waymon, Jonathan N. Waymon; Janna Ellis; and four great grandchildren; sisters, Mable R. Jones, Cora A. Holley; brother, James G. Chandler; Hubert Winton, longtime friend, for over thirty years, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Open to public 12:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Jarnigan’s Chapel.
Family visitation, 12:00-1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Rev. Sidney Davis, Jr., Officiating.
Interment, Mount Olive Cemetery.

A beautiful woman who left way too soon. My condolences to the entire Wayman family.
