EVELYN COLETTE BERRY
Evelyn Colette Berry, 65, passed away, December 16, 2022
Her passing concludes a wonderful, full life that touched many others even to her death. Colette was born May 14, 1957 to the late Roy Elbert Wiley Jr. and Rena Carr Wiley. She was a graduate of Alcoa High School class of 1975 and was employed by Knox County Schools for several years. Her most enjoyable hobby was gardening and making flower arrangements.
Preceded in death by beloved husband, George Edward Berry, and brother, Richard Wiley Sr.
Colette is survived by children, JaMia (Eric) Stokes, Dorianne Taylor, and Edward DaRan Taylor; grandchildren, Kendalyn Stokes, Devyn Johnson, DaRan Taylor, and Evan Stokes; great-grandchild Kylinn Springs; sister, Roena Hamilton; brother, Randal Wiley; nieces and nephews to include Paris (Courtney) Hamilton, Atalya (LeVar) Hamilton Wilkins, Richard Wiley Jr; aunts, Joyce Tate and Jane Carr Cooper.
Though her sense of warmth and kindness can never be replaced, she leaves a host of cousins, family, and friends with long lasting memories.
Please join us in celebrating her life, Wednesday, December 21st. Visitation 12:00 – 1:00 PM with Celebration of Life Service to follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1601 Dandridge Ave. Knoxville, TN 37915, Reverend Jesse L. Williams, SR., Officiating.

Sweet and Silly Colette, Thank you for blessing us with your beautiful presence. Hearing about your departure took my breath away. Because of your significance, you will be missed, forever. Because of the value you added to everyone of us who knew you, you are remembered. I am reminded in this moment that every breath is sacred.
