Obituary for Hubert Myers

Hubert “Dennis” Myers passed at the age of 71, January 22, 2022 at his home. Born, April 1950. Dennis was a kind and loving husband to his wife, Myrtle as well as an amazing father to his children and many others. Dennis was his own mechanic, he taught his children and grandchildren to change tires as well as the oil. Dennis had a green thumb and could grow almost anything. We loved to go fishing during his spare time, as well as hunting. He loved music and enjoyed singing tunes with his loved ones. Dennis would always tell you what was right or wrong. Regardless of if you liked it or if you didn’t. Very protecting and loving, we will all remember the wisdom you shared with each of us. Preceded in death, parents, Ollie Goins and Pete Buttram; siblings, Gary Myers, Alford, Myers, Clyde Myers and Athea Ray. Left to mourn his passing, children, Kimberly Myers, Kenneth Myers, Karen Myers; grandchildren, Domonique Myers, Kysheo Rogers, Kelsy Rogers, Kamya Myers, Kayla Jones, Kejuan Myers; great grandchildren, Zamari, Hearn, Kyla Rogers and many other family and friends.  Family will receive friends Saturday January 29, 2022 from 4 to 5pm, at Braxton Chapel AME Methodist Church, 529 Highland Street Kingston, TN 37763, with celebration of life services to follow.
