Obituary for James S. McGhee

James S. McGhee, age 72, of Knoxville, TN, passed away May 15, 2022. He was born January 23, 1950 to Joseph Tate and Mary Frances McGhee.

He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Tate and Mary Frances McGhee, son James S. McGhee Jr., brothers; Maurice McGhee, Willie, Frank, and Melvin Tate, sisters; Carolyn Sue Tate and Joann Tate Cantrell.

Survived by children; Valerie, Shontel, and Trashina McGhee, son, Joshua turner, sister, Francine McGhee, brothers; Ralph, Fred, and Robert McGhee, and Richard Tate.

Family will receive friends from 12 to 12:30 pm, Saturday June 4, 2022, at Jarnigan and Son Mortuary, with memorial services from 12:30 to 1 pm. Rev Perry Wiggins officiating. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
