Obituary for Kimberly Joyce Mills

Kimberly Joyce Mills went peacefully to be with the Lord August 24, 2022 at Creekview Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 5, 1976 to Willie and Cheryl McAllister. She was a devoted niece, cousin, and friend. Kim was a graduate of Central Highschool class of 1995. She was an employee of Lakeshore and Holiday Inn for many years before she took Ill. She loved her mother and brother more than life itself. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved to cook. She would help anyone out, no matter what. Her word was “Give me a minute.” She had a laugh that was infectious and had the most beautiful smile. To know her, was to know she had a warm heart. Words can not express how she is going to be missed. But God knows best and it was time for her to rest in his arms.

She is preceded in death by her father, willie McAllister, grandfathers, Carl Mills Sr. and Charlie McAllister; grandmothers, Ruby Mills and Gladys McAllister; great grandfather, Richard Wright, great grandmother, Hattie Wright; Uncles, John McAllister and Carl Mills Jr.; aunts, Mary McAllister and Melissa Blair; cousins, Darrick McAllister and Kameron Mills.

She leaves to cherish her warm and fondest memories, mother, Cheryl McAllister, brother, Kevin, sister Keisha Brown, aunts, Carletta (Arthur) Kimber, Shamery Mills, Sherita (Brandon) Young; and a host of cousin and best friends to include, Laquinta McGhee, Denise Hill, Staici Nelson, Denisha Hardin, Star Burns, Shaketta McCallie. Family will receive friends, Friday September 2, 2022 from 1 -2pm at Jarnigan and Son Chapel, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Knoxville, TN 37914. With funeral services to follow.
