LUCILLE ELIZABETH THOMPSON – MAPP

Lucille Elizabeth Thompson-Mapp, went home to be with the Lord, March 7, 2022; born February 14, 1944 in Cleveland, TN, to Med A. Thompson and Katherine E. Thompson.

Lucille accepted the Lord at the early age of 13 years old. She graduated from Austin High School, class of 1962.

She was a very loving and caring person and tried to help all of her family and everyone she could. She will be surely missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by, husband, William H. Mapp; mother and father; sister, Ethel Lathan; brothers, Bennie Bradford and Gayle Thompson.

Survivors, daughter, Sharon L. Mapp; sons, Barry A. Mapp, William Mapp, Troy Mapp; sister, Bernadine Dorsett; brother, Med A. Thompson, Jr., six grandchildren; one great grandchild; several devoted nieces and nephews and numerous friends; special friend, Joyce Paschal; other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends, 2:00-2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022, funeral service, 2:30p.m., at Jarnigan’s Chapel.

Interment Mount Olive Cemetery.
