Obituary for Marquis Anthony Nolan

Marquis Anthony Nolan was born in Knoxville, TN to Mark and Tonya Nolan on January 7, 1998. Marquis was baptized at an early age and attended Peace and Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of pastor John Jordan and first lady Diane Jordan. Marquis attended school in Knoxville. He was loved by so many. He had a smile that would make you love him unconditionally. He was always a peacemaker. No matter the situation, he wanted peace. Marquis was a loving father, son, and brother. Always in good spirit, Marquis’ focus was always on his children and family. Marquis will be missed and always loved by his family.

Marquis is preceded in death by his grandparents; Callie Nolan, Jessie Cooper, Sheila Rucker, and Sam Thompson, and sister, Marshae Nolan.

He leaves to cherish his memory children; Marquis Nolan Jr. and Jasir Nolan, parents, Mark and Tonya Nolan, sisters; Madrian and Marquala Nolan, brother; Demarcus, Damarion, Markel, Alex and Emir Nolan, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to include devoted sister like friend, Brandi Eunice, and the mothers of his children; Mary and Jamica.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12:30 to 1pm at Jarnigan’s Chapel. With funeral services to follow. Rev Eric Satterfield officiating. Interment at Mt. Olive cemetery. Final arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
