Obituary for Mary Louise Stillwell Dailey

MARY LOUISE STILLWELL DAILEY

Mary Louise Stillwell Dailey, made her appearance in time, December 26, 1928 in Knoxville, TN. She was an after Christmas gift to Louise Stillwell, (her mother.) She attended the public schools of Knoxville.

She was the mother of ten children, three of those children, Yvonne, Lyle and Clifton preceded her in death. She was also preceded by grandchildren, and by a friend of more than 60 years, Henrietta Avery.

She united with the Mt Calvary Baptist Church and in 1980 became a “Charter” member of the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, Inc. She was an active member of the church, and was involved in the organizing of the “Coffee Bunch” (Bible Study)
The church recognized her love for the church, her senior citizen status and chose her as a “Mother” of the church.

Mother Dailey leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Charlotte, Gloria and Marie; sons, Bruce, Timothy, Anthony and Douglas; 17 grandchildren, 23 great
grand children and 11 great great grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by the members of the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, Inc and many,
many friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon, at Fern Street Baptist Church, 121 Fern Street, service, 11:00 a.m., Dr. Harold A. Middlebrook, Eulogist.
