Mary Odessel Patton
Mary Odessel Patton was born December 31, 1945 to Anna Jessie Lee Patton Simpson. She went to be with the Lord, June 23, 2021 at her home. A resident of Knoxville, TN area since she was born in 1945.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved to cook and entertain. Employed as a seamstress, domestic engineer, and worked in janitorial service before becoming unable to do so. She will always be thought of but truly missed during the holidays and family gatherings. To know her was to love her.
Preceded in death by mother, Anna Jessie Lee Simpson; brothers, James Patton, Ernest Patton and nephew, Andre Stinson.
She leaves to mourn devoted daughter, Rhodema (William) Stevens; granddaughters, Odessel Y. Donohoo, Cassandra N. Donohoo; niece Tina Patton and a host of great grandchildren, great nephew and nieces.
Family will receive friends 6:00pm – 6:30pm, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Jarnigan’s Chapel; Celebration of life service, 6:30pm, Rev. Dr. Harold Middlebrook, Officiating.
