MELVIN JOE “JOEY” KYLE, JR.
Melvin Joe “Joey” Kyle Jr. passed away August 28, 2023 after a long unknown illness. Joey was born November 4, 1967 to Melvin Sr. and Carolyn Kyle.
He attended Austin East High School, retired from the City of Knoxville, and a board member at Emerald Youth Foundation. He was a loyal and devoted member of New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish memories, wife, Jacqueline Kyle; children, Sheaonna, Mikeyla, Jo’Dhasia, and Melvin III, six grandchildren; one he had yet to meet, devoted mother-in-love, Jacqueline Stacy; brothers, Troy Kyle and Darris Jack; sisters, Geszel Kyle-Brown and Stephanie Tillery; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends to include, devoted best friend, Marvin “Junior” Rucker.
Family will receive friends, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, funeral service , 6:30 p.m., Rev. Joseph Smith, Sr., Officiating.
