Sophronia’s love for me and all the kids at Webb was such an incredible gift growing up. Her unfailing kindness and care made a huge impact on my life. I will remember her fondly.
To the family of Mother Sophronia Favors,
It was a blessing to know and to be ministered to by Mother. She was a wonderful example of what a woman of God should be. We honor her memory and are very thankful for the privilege of having known her. The thank God that you shared her with us. We still hear her voice in the corner, with her laugh when something was said from the pulpit that encouraged her. The power in her voice was a gift from God and she used it well. We pray comfort and peace over each of you in the coming days. Hold onto the memories you shared; she is not dead, but yet asleep. When the trumpet sounds and she rises, be ready to meet her in the sky.
I always enjoyed the spirit of Sister
Sophronia Favors whenever I visited MMFBHCogic.., she would do the morning welcome and would always address my sisters and me as
“The sisters from First AME Zion”… she always made us feel welcome…
I’m certain she still doing welcomes in Heaven with that warm inviting smile of hers🌹
Thinking of Sophronia always brings a smile to my face, just like seeing her every day at school brought a smile to my face no matter what kind of day I was having. She was overflowing with love and brightened the day of everyone around her. Prayers to your family in this difficult time, but what a wonderful life to celebrate.
