Nathaniel “Flick” Baker

Nathaniel Baker, “Flick” went home to be with the Lord, August 4, 2022, at the age of 77, in Knoxville, Tennessee at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, “Flick” came out as a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Survived by children, La Dreama Stacy and Kimberly Baker both of Knoxville; son, Tracy Tate, Knoxville Tennessee; sisters, Rev. Maggie L. Baker, Knoxville, Alberta Brantley, Maryville; Greta (Rodney) McGhee, Knoxville; grandchildren: LaTravia Howard, Tralaia Hall, Trakeeva and Shanya Tate, Kadarius and Kylik Baker; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family will receive friends, 6:00-6:30 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, at Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 6:30 p.m., Rev. Maggie Baker, Officiating.
