Nema Pauline Brown, age 80, made her journey to Heaven, Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Annie Blair; nine sisters and two brothers.
Left to cherish her memories: husband, Lewis Brown Sr.; daughter, Tammy Brown Fields, Covington, GA; son, Lewis Brown Jr., Douglasville, GA; son, Richard Brown, Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Joshua (Briana) Williams, Covington, GA., Jacob Brown, Knoxville, TN, Monica Breashears-Brown, Syracuse, NY; great grandchildren McKenna and Malachi Williams, Covington, GA; sister, Carrie Bonnie Solomon; a devoted niece Darlene Tate; a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Family will receive friends, 4:30-5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at New Salem Baptist Church, 2041 Bethel Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915; Celebration of life, 5:00 p.m., Pastor Sanford Miller, Officiating.
Interment New Gray Cemetery, 9:30 a.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Nema was a classmate and mother of , Richard, one of my favorite students when I taught 3rd grade at Eastport. He, like his mother, was so sweet and easy to be around. Blessings and condolences to the family. She will be missed by so many.
