PASTOR THOMAS EARL GLENN
On January 20, 2023 after an extended illness, Pastor Thomas Earl Glenn of Knoxville, TN passed away at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Born September 12, 1948, in Atlanta, GA, Pastor Glenn was the son of the late Elder Arthur J. Glenn and mother, Jerri E. Glenn. Pastor Glenn founded Unity of Praize Church of God in Knoxville, where he was Sr. Pastor for almost ten years; He pastored Cherry St. Church of God, Sanctified. Prior to that time, he resided in Detroit, MI and pastored in Flint, MI. Pastor Glenn’s father, the late Elder A. J. Glenn was Pastor of Beulah Church of God-Holiness in Knoxville for more than 40 years.
Pastor Glenn leaves to cherish his memories wife, Angela of 48 years; four children, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

DEAR FAMILY OF PASTOR EARL GLENN, When I think of your husband and father I think of his ebullient smile and contagious joy he carried with him. I think of his abounding love for the Word Of God. I remember how glad we were when his father would bring all his children up from Atlanta to Knoxville and we ‘d play together go to church together and just enjoy each other so.
