PASTOR TONY SCRUGGS

The Lord called His beloved son, Pastor Tony Scruggs, home in the early morning hours of June 21, 2021. Tony was born, July 23, 1972 to KC and Shirley Scruggs. He is the younger brother of Robert Scruggs. Tony lived his life dedicated to the Lord even from a young age. He was ordained as a Pastor, February 2, 2019 through Honey Rock Victorious Church, and he was at his happiest when he was either signing praises to God or sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with someone. Tony was one of the most caring and loving people in the world. He was a man who was full of life, and he loved to make others smile and laugh even in the toughest situations. He was a fighter, who never gave up.

Tony was survived by mother, Shirley; father, KC; brother, Robert, wife Kristina; daughter, Mystica; sons, Armond, Robbie, and Deyavante, many other extended family members, and several beloved friends.

Open Visitation, 12:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Jarnigan’s Chapel, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Family will receive friends, 5:00-6:00 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2021 at Honey Rock Victorious Church, 4113 Holston Drive; homegoing service, 6:00 p.m., Apostle Jerry Upton, Officiating.
