Patricia Ann Johnson
Patricia Ann Johnson was born November 11,1945 to parents Robert and Mary Kate Tate in Knoxville, Tennessee. Patricia gained her heavenly wings, September 27, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital.
Patricia was affectionately known to most as “Ma” and lived most of her life by living up to that name. She devoted many years of service to the Knox Hospitality Fish Pantry, Chestnut Street. When you needed your home cleaned or your chicken fried just right, you knew the number one person to call would be Mama Pat.
Patricia attended Rush Strong High School. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and obtained a degree in business in 1966.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Jimmy “Jim” Johnson; precious niece, Sophia Morris; brothers-in-law, Paul and Wayne Johnson; cousins, George W Tate, Lucy Tate Turner, John Tate and Barbara Jean Whittington.
Survivors, only son, Raymond Woodfin Jr.; grandchildren, Arron, Chiquita, KaVonna, Christian, Chakeyia and Marshall Woodfin; great grandchildren, Marshaun, Arron Jr, ZaVion, Halasha, Euzaiyah, King, Kei’Lynn, Onlei Nance; sister-in-law, Benny Joyce Johnson; brothers-in-law, Luther and Wallace Johnson; god daughter, Sandra Hand; god sisters, Beatta Prater and Sharon Lowery; devoted cousin, Damita Jo Tate; special friends, Matt and Boo; the Mynatt, Prater, Lowery, Johnson, and Tate families, and a large host of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends, 5:00- 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
