Allen Taylor

Allen Taylor of Knoxville, TN passed away at home January 9, 2025. Allen was a former member of St. Josephs House of Faith and a dedicated worker at Helen Ross McNabb. He was the president of the “Eastside Van Club” He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen Taylor Sr. and Thelma Huddleston Jackson; step mother, Eleanor Moffett Taylor, and step father, Clifford Jackson.

He is survived by children, BiLisa Taylor, Renee Taylor, Bilal Siler, David Taylor, Daniel (Savannah) Taylor, and Christopher Taylor; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Nannette Spencer and Fayetta (Rev. Calvin) Schofield, brothers, Randall (Eugenia) Taylor, and Russell Taylor; step mother, Virginia Grahams Taylor, a host nieces and nephews to include, Melvin and Clifford Spencer; former wife, Arlene Siler, a many other family and friends. 

A private family service was held at his request. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
