Becky Watring

We are here to celebrate the life of our beloved Becky Ellen Watring who has been called to return home with our Heavenly Father at the age of 49 on February 28, 2025. Becky was born in Morgantown, WV on May 29, 1975 to mother, Diane Collins, and father Leonard Watring from which she had a younger brother, Leonard Watring.

Becky was raised by her stepparents Hazel and Gary Hanlin from which she inherited three additional siblings; Robert Watring, Jody Watring, and Chassie Smith.

A mother's love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories, her memory will live on through the love she shared and though gone from our sight, her love remains forever.

Becky created and leaves in her memory three beautiful children; Troy Watring, Delphia Roper, and Treyvon Watring. She also leaves in memory six amazing grandchildren; Taiden Watring, Andre Watring, Gabrielle Watring, Amariah Williamson, Liam Watring, and Gabriel Watring.

Becky wasn’t just a mom to her own, but a mom to whoever walked through her door. She had a special way of creating a bond with anyone through her contagious laughter and bubbly personality. Her selflessness made her a unique spirit in today’s world that will forever be cherished and remembered. Before her passing Becky was employed at PepsiCo as a Settlement Administrator where she was adored by many.

In her free time she was fond of hanging out with her family and friends, especially Tina and Antonio Burkhart. One of her favorite activities was to be in the kitchen, she loved to find new recipes to create. When she wasn’t in the kitchen or at work she loved to hit the road and visit her children and grandchildren.  Becky created so many memories with so many different people and helped out whoever she could in the process.

She was a determined strong minded woman who wanted nothing but the best for everyone surrounding her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength that will continue to project on our lives until we meet again. In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.

Remaining to cherish memory are her nieces and nephews; Alyssa Smith, Alyson Smith, James Smith Jr., Jared Mcrobie Jr., Nikita Mcrobie, Savanna Mcrobie, and Zack Hudak.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Jarnigan and Son Chapel, located at  2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37914 with a service to immediately follow.
