Dexter Jerome Stewart aged 71, departed this life of January 16,2025. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, grilling, riding his motorcycle, and taking his family on road trips. He leaves to cherish his memories to his ex wife Annete Stewart, Demetra (Joseph Houston), Jessica (Claude Powell Jr), eleven grandchildren; Tiana, Taymon, Jacall, Jada, Tiara, Taryn, TyriQue, Miracle, Myeshia, and MarQuis. Two great grandchildren; Kameron, and Asani. His brother Amos Colbert, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Betty, sister Sandra Gail, and uncles Patrick and Wayne Moran. The family would like to thank the staff of Serene Manor, Diversicare of Oak Ridge, and the dialysis clinics.
Family will recieve friends, Saturday January 25, 2025 from 3:30 to 4pm at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave Knoxville, TN 37914, with Celebration of Life to follow. Minister John Tillary officiating. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
