Marvin Kitchen

Marvin Mason Kitchen, 74, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on September 9, 2024. He was the sixth child of the late James and Willie Kitchen. Graduate of Austin High School class of 1967. He joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He leaves to cherish his memory, brothers, Douglas (Connie) Kitchen and Larry Kitchen; sisters, Judith Wyatt and Chary Maude Thompson, former sister-in-law, Charlene Kitchen, many wonderful nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to include special friends, Linwood Smith, Bruce Taylor, Eugene Downs, Harold “Gator” Evans.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 10:00 to 10:30am at Lomax Temple AME Zion Church, 3220 Sherman St. Knoxville, TN 37921, with funeral services to follow. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
