Mattie Clemmons

Mattie Mae Clemmons, born December 31, 1931 passed away on March 8, 2025.

Mattie was a faithful servant and member of First Calvary where she served in many capacities. She was a member of the Ardell Goins Missionary, Usher Board, and Sung in the Senior Choir. In addition, she served on the kitchen committee board until her health diminished.

She has now passed into the arms of our Lord. As we remind ourselves, this is only the end of her physical life on Earth, it is the beginning of a new life and beautiful journey in Heaven.

Preceded in death: Mother Victoria Coggins(Mother), Willie F. Clemmons (Husband), Victoria Inez Clemmons (Daughter) Brother James F. Kelley Sr. (Luella), Earl Trapp (brother-in- law) and great grandson Jovany morale.

She is survived by Children’s Broderick (Eloise) Kelley, Kenneth Kelley, Valerie (Clemmons) Armstrong and Ricky Eric (Angie) Clemmons, sister Earnestine Trapp, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and host nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:30am to 11:00am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at First Calvary Baptist Church, located at 1750 Delaware Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921.
