Obituary for Revester Samantha “Kat” Jenkins

KNOXVILLE -It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Revester Samantha “Kat” Jenkins. At age 47, she departed this life on August 30, 2022, in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by grandmothers, Revester Jarnigan and Rosemary Jenkins, grandfathers, Chester Jarnigan and Pearl Jenkins; aunts, Regina Murphy and Maria Jarnigan, and other relatives.

She will be greatly missed and remembered by her children, Lyric Simmons, Jalyra, and Ah’King Jenkins; parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Jenkins; brother, Kenneth (Nicki) Jenkins; grandchild, Melody Grant; and a hhost of other family and friends too numerous to name.

Family will receive friends, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 10, 2022; Funeral service, 12:00 noon at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 4012 Oakland Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918, Rev. Jospeh Tolbert officiating. Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Final arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary. www.jarniganandson.com
