RONALD L. KENNEDY

Born February 28, 1947 to the union of Camille Taylor Kennedy and Walter Kennedy, III.
He passed away December 22, 2021.

Preceded in death by parents; brother and sister.

Survivors, son, Ronald Kennedy, Jr.; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters, Shirley Kennedy (James) Davenport; aunt, Dorothy Chapman; nephew, James Davenport, Jr.; nieces, Cammie Davenport Woodle, Michelle (Wallace) Toto, Renee Spicer McCain; cousins, James Edward and David Taylor, Donald (Sylvia) Hemphill, Beverly Hemphill Jones, more like a sister; numerous other cousins and friends.

Ronnie will be remembered for his passion for living a natural life on his terms.

Family will receive friends, 10:30-11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary; Celebration of Life, 11:00 a.m., Rev. Benjamin Hemphill, Officiating.

Shirley, I know how difficult it is to go through the loss of a loved one. I am praying for God to comfort you & all the family as only He can do. I have the fondest memories of times gone by sitting at Aunt Camille’s with everyone laughing. I will always cherish those memories with your family though you may not realize it. 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
