SHAWNTIA LASHA DAVIS

Shawntia LaSha Davis, born June 9, 1989, in Knoxville, TN to Inga Brown Shadden and the late Joseph Curtis Davis I. She transitioned peacefully around family and friends at UT Hospital, April 6, 2022.

She was employed as a Supervisor at Red Stag. She graduated from Austin-East High School c/o 2008 where she was an outstanding basketball player and won the Double AA championship in 2007.

As an organ donor she saved 8 lives; just to know she lives on within someone else.

Family will receive friends, 10:00 -11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1601 Dandridge Avenue, Rev. Jesse L. Willams, Sr., Officiating.

Masks are required to attend.

Interment Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue, with dove release.

Family and friends will assemble at the home of Katie D. Griffin, 4205 Ivy Avenue.
