TOMMY C. TAYLOR
KNOXVILLE- Tommy C. Taylor, went to be with the Lord, July 19, 2021, surrounded by loved one’s at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
Faithful member of the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Tommy enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 17,where he received several accommodations over his twenty years of service.
After serving in the Air Force Tommy went on to spend twenty two years working in the Engineering Department for the City of Knoxville.
Preceded in death by mother and father; daughter, Sayuri Taylor and brother, Robert Lee Taylor.
Survivors, loving wife of 43 years, Setsuko Taylor; son, Masahiro (Cheryl) Taylor, Claxton, TN; daughter, Tonya (Rodney) Fleetwood, Buford, GA; son, Tommy (Ivoree) Taylor, Buford, GA; sister, Annie Ruth Craig, Knoxville; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends to include, Rev. J. Ellis McCleary.
Family will receive friends, 10:00-10:30 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2021 Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 10:30 a.m., Rev. Rick Rice, Officiating, Rev. J. Ellis McCleary,
Eulogist.
Interment Tennessee Veterans Cemetery- John Sevier.
