Tracey Shane Cox was born January 2, 1990 in Knoxville, TN to Tanna Steger and Terry Cox. He attended Austin-East High School where he was a member of the Roadrunner basketball team and participated in Young Life. He had an outgoing personality and was loved by his classmates and fellow Roadrunners.
Tracey made a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with. Tracey was transitioned from this life into eternity on December 17, 2022. Tracey was preceded in death by Terry Cox, father; Nellie & Virgil Cox, grandparents; Lucille & Frank Cox, grandparents; Rosie Reed, great aunt. Left to cherish his memory: Tanna Steger Cole, mother; Otis Cole, step-father; Anthony Steger and Terrance Cox, brothers; Tomeeka Cox, sister; five children: Jaidynn Green, Trezjure Alvarez, Braxton, Keylan, and Jaeva Cox; dedicated family and friends: Johnny & Raynor Dave, great uncle & aunt; Andre & Rochanda Williams, uncle & aunt; Debra Reed, aunt; Mona Brown,
aunt; Eugene Brown, uncle.
