Caring for a Loved One’s Physical Remains

Once you’ve decided how you’d like to honor your loved one’s life, the next step you will face is how you’d like to care for their physical remains. We will provide you with the best information that you will need, as this can be an emotional and difficult choice for you and your family. Once you have made a decision on either a burial or cremation, there are a few further decisions you will meet:

  • For a burial service, you will need to choose between a ground burial or an entombment in a mausoleum, and you will need to select a casket and a cemetery.
  • For a cremation, you will need to select an urn, and decide to either bury, entomb, or scatter the cremated remains, as well as the location that you would choose to do so.

Whichever plan you decide to make, our staff at Jarnigan will be here to support and help you in your decision that feels best for you and your loved one.
