Obituary for William Jason Carter
William Jason Carter affectionately known as, “J-Roc” entered into eternal rest, Friday, May 5, 2023 at NHC Knoxville.
Preceded in death by parents, William Carter and Mary Beaty Carter; sons, William Jr. and Jairan Carter.
Survived by dedicated wife, Lisa Carter; children, J’Sharra and La’Kira Carter, Reddrecka and Redshay Bostic, Jairah Carter, Quin’niyah Taylor, William “Lil Jason” and Ja’Cionna Carter and seven wonderful grandchildren; sisters, Christy Ann (George Pelcher) Jackson and Kimberly (Walter) Brabson; brother, Scott (Deedy) Mayott; loving in-law, Charmaine, Consuela and Roderick Bostic; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family wishes to thank Lasherly Frazier, the staff at West Meade Place and NHC Knoxville for their patience and care provided to our loved one.
Family will receive friends, 5:30-6:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Celebration of life, 6:00 p.m., Elder Joe B. Maddox, Officiating.
