WILLIE MAE JACKSON BROWN
Willie Mae Jackson Brown, age 85 began her heavenly journey with Jesus, Friday November 12, 2021.
Willie Mae was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist church for 80 years, and worked for 45 years in her dream profession as a Registered Nurse.
Preceded in death by parents, Willie Roy and Mary Elizabeth Jackson; siblings, Louise Scott, Roy, and William Jackson.
Survived by husband of over 64 years, Charles E. Brown Sr.; children, Charlotte (Ronald) Blair, Sherria (Michael) Allen, Venessa (Tony) Rucker, and Charles (Roberta) Brown Jr.; grandchildren Raneisha (Peerless) Price, Anthony (Jacquelyn) Rucker, Charlesse, Trezjure, Kira, and Isaiah Brown, Ronnie Jr, LeShaun, and LeMont Blair; great-grandchildren, Caeden and Kai Price, Jaedyn and Saelym Harris, Maliek Campbell and Casia’Lee Daniels; sisters, Geraldine Legrande and Doris Johnson; a host of nieces and nephews, including devoted niece, Shelia (Reginald) Wilkes and nephew, Koby Minor.
Special thanks to the staff at Smoky Mountain Hospice and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Family will receive friends, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Monday, November 22, 2021; funeral service, 12:00 noon at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2137 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Interment, 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy.
